By using this website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, approving a proposal, making an agreed payment or instructing work to begin, you acknowledge that these Terms & Conditions may apply alongside any project-specific written agreement.

Where a quotation, proposal, invoice, contract or other written project agreement contains terms that differ from these general Terms & Conditions, the project-specific written terms will apply to that project to the extent of the difference.

Project Agreements & Scope

Before substantial work begins, the expected project scope may be agreed through a quotation, proposal, email, message, invoice or another written form of communication.

The agreed scope may identify the pages, features, integrations, design work, development work, content requirements, technical tasks and other deliverables expected for the project.

Work that falls outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require a revised quotation, additional fee or separate agreement before being completed.

Client Responsibilities

To allow a project to progress efficiently, clients are responsible for providing information, access and approvals reasonably required to complete the agreed work.

Client responsibilities may include:

• Providing accurate project requirements.
• Providing website, hosting or platform access when required.
• Supplying text, images, logos and other content where the client is responsible for content.
• Reviewing work and providing feedback within a reasonable time.
• Confirming approvals and decisions needed for development.
• Ensuring that supplied materials can legally be used.
• Maintaining secure control of passwords and account credentials.
• Providing accurate billing and contact information.

Client Content & Materials

Clients are responsible for the accuracy, legality and suitability of content they provide for use in a website or project.

This may include text, photographs, graphics, videos, logos, trademarks, product information, downloadable files and other materials supplied by the client.

By supplying content for a project, the client confirms that they have the necessary rights, licences or permissions to use that material and to authorize its use as part of the project.

I may refuse to use materials where there is a reasonable concern that they are unlawful, infringing, malicious or otherwise inappropriate for the project.

Project Timelines & Delays

Any estimated completion date or project timeline is based on the information available when the estimate is provided.

Timelines can be affected by factors including changes to project scope, delayed client feedback, missing content, delayed approvals, third-party services, platform issues, technical complications or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Where client information, access, content or approvals are delayed, the project schedule may also be delayed accordingly.

Unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed in writing, estimated delivery dates should not be treated as guaranteed dates.

Revisions & Change Requests

Reasonable revisions may be made as part of a project where they fall within the agreed scope.

The number or extent of revisions may also be defined in a specific quotation or proposal.

Significant changes requested after approval of a design, functionality, structure or project stage may require additional work and may be separately quoted.

A revision is generally intended to refine agreed work rather than replace the original brief with a substantially different project.

Fees, Invoices & Payments

Project fees, payment stages, deposits and due dates will be communicated through the relevant quotation, proposal, invoice or written agreement.

Where a payment is required before work begins or before a project stage is released, work may be scheduled or delivered only after the required payment has been received.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately and will not automatically be included in the original fee.

Clients are responsible for paying invoices in accordance with the payment terms stated on the relevant invoice or agreement.

Cancellation & Project Termination

Either party may request that a project be cancelled or ended. Where work has already been completed, the client may remain responsible for payment for completed work, approved stages, committed resources or other amounts properly due under the applicable project agreement.

Any refund or credit will depend on the specific project, completed work, payments already made and any applicable written agreement.

I may suspend or terminate work where there is persistent non-payment, abusive communication, unlawful activity, serious breach of an agreement or failure to provide information required to reasonably continue the project.

Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights relating to a completed project may include client-provided materials, custom project work, third-party software, themes, plugins, fonts, stock assets, platform components and other licensed materials.

Ownership or usage rights for custom deliverables may be transferred or licensed to the client in accordance with the relevant project agreement and subject to payment of amounts properly due.

Third-party software, themes, plugins, applications, fonts, images, libraries and other licensed materials remain subject to their own licences and ownership terms.

Client-supplied trademarks, logos, photographs, text and other client materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-Party Platforms & Services

Website projects may depend on third-party products and services that are not controlled by Wasiq Khan.

These may include:

• Shopify.
• Website hosting providers.
• Domain registrars.
• Payment gateways.
• Email providers.
• Plugins and themes.
• APIs and external integrations.

• Security and backup services.

Third-party services may change their features, pricing, policies, APIs, availability or technical requirements without notice.

I cannot guarantee the continuous availability or future behaviour of services controlled by third parties.

Website maintenance and ongoing support are separate from initial website development unless they are specifically included in the project scope or a maintenance agreement.

Maintenance services may include software updates, backups, security checks, troubleshooting, content changes, performance review and other agreed tasks.

The exact level of support, response expectations, included work and duration will depend on the maintenance arrangement agreed with the client.

A completed website may require future updates as browsers, platforms, software, plugins, APIs and security requirements change.

Limitation Of Responsibility

Reasonable care is taken when providing website-related services, but no website, software system or online service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption, error or security risk.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for indirect or consequential losses arising from third-party outages, client actions, unauthorized changes, cyber incidents, hosting failures, external software or circumstances outside reasonable control may be limited.

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate access control, account security and backups after project handover unless ongoing responsibility for those services has been separately agreed.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Portfolio & Project Display

Completed work may be referenced as part of a professional portfolio, case study or description of previous work where it is appropriate and where doing so does not conflict with an agreed confidentiality requirement.

If a project must remain confidential or should not be displayed publicly, this should be communicated and agreed in writing.

Confidential information, private client data, account credentials and non-public business information will not intentionally be published as portfolio material.
